As head of the Construction Division, Sean will focus on enhancing the client and builder partner experience, expanding on a best-in-class system for facilitating the construction loan process.
Sean began his career in the industry in 1991 as a California real estate agent. As he navigated the industry, he found himself in mortgage focused on the origination of private money lending in Orange County. By 1998, now in San Diego, Sean proved be a top producer. After the market crash in 2007, Sean left lending and went back to his roots in construction and development as a Vice President with Five Star General Construction focusing on new construction for attached units and homes.
In 2017, after Hurricane Maria ravaged Puerto Rico, Sean moved to the island to open a local construction company. Sean successfully grew a construction and remodel business on the island over the last few years. In 2019, Josh and Shane Erskine, CEO and President of OneTrust Home Loans, met with Sean and discussed ways to work together. With Sean’s extensive building and mortgage experience within the US and Puerto Rico, OneTrust Home Loans brought Sean onboard to help enhance and expand their best-in-class construction lending division that can be scaled across the continental US, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands.
